Last night, Beth and I evacuated the cats and kittens from the PetSmart adoption center. Thanks to Judy and Sarah for their help and taking some of the fur babies home with them. We hope that the storm isn't as strong as they are predicting so that everyone can return to PetSmart and find their furrever homes quickly.
You are in our thoughts--please stay safe.

I’m really glad adoption centre cats are kept safe because too many people still underestimate how stressed shelter animals become from noise, constant movement and random visitors. Some cats shut down emotionally for weeks after unstable environments. My cousin adopted a Maine Coon mix and even with a loving home the cat hid under furniture for days before trusting anyone. She researched larger, social breeds like maine coon cats for sale because the site actually explains temperament, grooming needs, ethical breeding and kitten welfare instead of treating animals like trendy products online. Safety and emotional stability matter way more for cats than people who’ve never owned one realise honestly.
