So, the 7 traps left at the house to trap the LAST 7 cats were filled with 15 cats Monday morning. We know there is ONE more to trap so we are now up to 77 (including the elusive one).
This 15 are going in to be spayed/neutered Tuesday. Many thanks to Jan and Rosemary who are sharing the transport, and also JJ and the staff at Hill Country Animal League in Boerne who have been incredible throughout this nightmare.
The hero mama cat trying to feed 11 kittens has some help now from one of the other reluctant mamas so the strain has been taken off her slightly. We have received some offers of help of emergency nursing help so many thanks to everyone who responded. The kitten situation was being re-evaluated Monday evening and a decision will be forthcoming.
