Animal Rescue Connections - Your South Central Texas resource to help animals in need
Trap, Neuter, Return
Trap, Neuter, Return is the only method that works long-term in controlling outdoor cat populations. It is the logical, responsible thing to do. We are dedicated to sharing information on how to control outdoor cat populations for the benefit of the cats and our neighborhoods.

To learn more about this tried and tested method, visit the website of the national organization; Alley Cat Allies or the local organization; San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition.

Attend a free class run by the SAFCC to find out how you can help the outdoor cats and manage the population numbers. The classes are open to everyone - no reservations needed. After attending one class, you receive a lifetime of assistance, access to low-cost resources, free loan of traps, etc.

If you are in the Bulverde/Spring Branch/Canyon Lake area, you can attend a class in San Antonio or request a class in your area. To request a class, first ask friends and neighbors and find a minimum of eight people willing to attend. Then, find a location that will allow us to meet free of charge (a community room, library, school/church hall, etc.). Send an email request to rescue@gvtc.com and a volunteer will contact you to make arrangements.
